'LOCAL FOODS FORUM' - BUYERS' AND GROWERS' ROUNDTABLE

A number of local growers and buyers participated in an afternoon roundtable discussion designed to engage the audience in identifying local food system challenges and opportunities.

Increased familiarity with crop availability and development of local processing facilities for surplus product were among suggestions for strengthening Lake County’s local food system.
